NEWS/PR: Fern Ridge School District Announces Bond Update

Measure 20-354 addresses needs identified by the community to make capital improvements district-wide, without increasing taxes based on the historical average tax rate. Ballots are due by 8:00 PM on May 21, 2024.

 The Fern Ridge School District is seeking to address the needs of its community to make key improvements to enhance schools and provide an even better learning environment for students.

 Improved Safety, Modernized Educational Spaces, Improved Heating & Cooling Systems, and Enhanced Outdoor Athletic Facilities all are categories for what this Bond will positively impact across the district.

Gary Carpenter, FRSD Superintendent recently lead FRSD Bond Q&A, to share information & resources, providing a comprehensive overview of the Bond as well as answering questions of the community.

Scott Rose, Senior Program & Project Manager of R&C Management Group is honored to be working with the Fern Ridge School District on their Long-Range Planning since 2014. Scott has also supported Facility Planning & Assessments, and as an active member in the FRSD Bond Committee.

Scott recently participated in the latest FRSD Bond Q&A, to further inform & engage the community, and towards the end of the meeting he was able to share an example of how a key HVAC System Controls Improvement in the Bond will positively impact long term operating costs of the district for years to come.
