June of 2024 - Facility Assessments and Long-Range Facility Planning
Gaston School District hired R&C Management Group again to conduct Facility Assessments and Long-Range Facility Planning. Scott Rose, R&C’s Senior Program/Project Manager and Accredited ODE Facility Assessor will assess each facility in the district, documenting, and submitting all paperwork per ODE TAP Grant and OSCIM requirements.
Long-Range Facility Planning begins in the Fall of 2024 when key stakeholder groups of faculty, students, and community can provide input and help shape the long-term strategy for the district.
May of 2016 - Gaston School District Passes Bond
In partnership with their greater community, Gaston School District successfully passed a $12M bond measure. In addition to the bond measure the district received state grants which increased the total available funds to $18.3M. The combined budget empowered the district to provide for the expansion of the middle school, including new classrooms, a multipurpose building, an outdoor play facility. The bond program also provided for district-wide safety, security, and technology improvements, as well as necessary demolition and sitework.
Gaston School District hired R&C Management Group to provide Owners Representative Services in Program and Project Management.
